Ian EdwardMURTONIt is with great sadness that we announce that Ian passed peacefully at home on 4th June 2024, aged 84 years, after a long battle with declining health. Much loved husband of the late Sheila, Father of Christopher and Helen and Grandad of Louis, Harry, Alfie, Eric and Ivar. Born in Hoddesdon on 11th May 1940, Ian moved to Sacombe Green to start his married life in 1968 and remained there until his passing. He spent his working life in the Building Trade, also restoring furniture for his wife's antique shop in Ware. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 12 o'clock on 1st July at Woollensbrook Crematorium, Hoddesdon. All enquiries to Powell Funeral Directors, Ware, 01920 463260. Family flowers only, please.
